Non-concealed wipers were standard from 1970 - 1978. The wiper system was 2 speeds, on/low and on/high. The wiper arms have a brushed stainless look and are visible on the windshield.
Concealed wipers were optional. They'll have Black colored arms and when off, will park (or drop down) behind the back edge of your hood. Concealed wipers became the standard wiper system in 1979 with delayed (or pulse) wipers being optional.
