1973 - 1981 Firebird Trans Am Shaker Hood Scoop To Air Cleaner Base Retaining Ring, 16 Inch

New hood scoop ring for your Firebird or Trans Am. This ring secures your shaker hood scoop to the air cleaner breather base assembly. Will replace your damaged or missing original exactly. For use on all 1973 - 1981 models with shaker hoods. This one is for air cleaner bases that measure about 16 inches in diameter. Some models with 301 or 305 engines require a smaller 15 inch diameter. Please double check your air cleaner breather base and make sure.

*NOTE ~ Many cars over the years have have hood scoop swaps and modifications. Please measure your hood scoop base and make sure this is the one you need.

*NOTE ~ This version will also work for 70 - 72 if you don't have the correct tab wing nut style designed scoop and base.
