1967 - 1969 Firebird Holley Hydraulic Conversion Firewall Kit
This is a Hydraulic Clutch Linkage Conversion Kit for First Gen. Firebird owners. This hydraulic kit is designed specifically for your 67, 68, or 69 Firebird. This Kit includes a new master cylinder, slave cylinder, mounting bracket, hardware, reservoir and lines.

This kit is designed specifically for 1967-1969 Pontiac Firebird models and allows for easy conversion from a mechanical clutch linkage to a modern hydraulic clutch system. This kit includes all necessary components for a straightforward installation on the chassis side: clutch master cylinder (based on 4th Gen F-Body), clutch pedal with pad, clutch rod assembly, master cylinder mount and reinforcement plate, master cylinder reservoir kit, and all required mounting hardware.
Pedal ratios have been optimized for perfect pedal feel and full engagement of the clutch system. With so many engine and transmission combinations available, we have left it up to the installer to decide on which release (or throw-out) bearing and hydraulic lines will be used.
The Holley hydraulic conversion kit is engineered to fit each model perfectly, ensuring a trouble-free installation and optimal performance. The kit offers several advantages over traditional mechanical clutch linkage systems. First and foremost, it provides a smoother and more precise clutch engagement, resulting in improved drivability and reduced wear and tear on clutch components. Additionally, the hydraulic system eliminates the need for periodic adjustments and maintenance that are typically required with mechanical clutch linkages and the use of many modern transmissions such as the T56, TR6060, Magnum, TKX, TKO, and classic 4-Speeds as well. This kit will also fit 1968 to 1974 Nova models. Perfect for Automatic to Manual Shift Conversion and also LS conversions with 5 or 6-speed transmissions.

- NOTE: Although this system is designed to utilize the OEM firewall passage, cutting of the firewall will be required for proper installation.
NOTE: DO NOT use fluid that has been bled from a hydraulic clutch system, in order to fill the clutch master cylinder reservoir; due to the possibility that the fluid may be aerated, have too much moisture content, or be contaminated and may cause system or vehicle damage.
CAUTION: Alignment of the clutch master cylinder mount, master cylinder, and the clutch pedal is critical to the proper operation and longevity of this system. Failure to properly align will result in poor pedal feel, possible disengagement issues, and premature system failures.
