1970 - 1981 Firebird and Trans Am Windshield Wiper Motor to Firewall Mounting Plate, Concealed

NEW Windshield Wiper Motor Firewall Mounting Plate for the concealed wipers on your 70 - 81 Firebird model. This is for the 1970 - 1981 wipers that are NOT seen when in the off position. The wipers get pulled down to hide under the hood when off.

*Please Note ~ The stock original wiper motor mounting bolts are too small for this new reproduction plate. You will have to source a larger bolt to mount your wiper motor.

Non-concealed wipers were standard from 1970 - 1978.  The wiper system was 2 speeds, on/low and on/high.  The wiper arms have a brushed stainless look and are visible on the windshield.  Concealed wipers were optional.  They'll have black colored arms and when off, will park (or drop down) behind the back edge of the hood.  Concealed wipers became the standard wiper system in 1979 with delayed (or pulse) wipers being optional.
