With this new kit you can allow air to flow in for improved performance and close to keep outside elements out of your 77 -81 Trans Am. Designed with an electric solenoid for 12V current to improve durability. This is an easy do-it-yourself kit that wires directly to your fuse box so the flap opens when the engine is started. Each kit comes complete with a detailed instruction manual with pictures and text. You must use your original hood scoop or buy a new one, hood scoop is not included in this great kit. *You can choose to add a Kick Down Switch and bracket to have the flap activated when stepping hard on the accelerator. **Fits ALL 1977 1978 1979 1980 1981 models with pontiac engines.
